AI assistants are getting smarter. Described by the company’s CEO as a “little critter” during its Stripe Sessions conference, Stripe’s new AI Dashboard Assistant can not only answer queries from users but also perform actions like creating products, changing prices and more.
This could have significant consequences for product teams, who now have to develop traditional UX while also considering whether there are opportunities for AI assistants to provide support. How this analysis is structured
This DoP Deep dive includes over 25+ different examples of new AI features recently released by top companies across each of the categories:
Company - this includes a mix of B2B SaaS and B2C consumer companies including Stripe, Doordash, YouTube, Linear, Figma and more.
AI feature - typically, when companies release major new AI features, the feature will be given its own name to differentiate it from other features. For example, Lyft’s Earnings Assistant, Microsoft’s controversial “Recall” feature or Kindle Recaps. Each feature name is included for reference.
Category - there are 8 categories included in the analysis spanning different types of AI features. More on that below.
