Hi product people 👋,

While most commentators are busy trying to figure out whether AI will replace engineers and creatives, there's one application of AI that's been quietly gaining traction in recent months: the humble spreadsheet.

In this Knowledge Series tutorial, we’ll explore how you can augment your spreadsheets with AI to boost your productivity for use cases like identifying trends, data formatting, categorizing customer feedback with sentiment analysis and more. Plus, thanks to Gemini in Google Sheets, we’ll explain why the days of writing formulas by hand may be coming to an end.

Coming up, how to use AI in spreadsheets to boost your productivity for use cases including:

  • Summarizing key trends and formatting data without relying on learning complex formulas

  • Extracting information from visuals for things like bug reports or alt text

  • Creating meeting agendas, roadmaps and other useful documents from scratch

  • Quickly translating content into multiple languages for product internationalization

  • Analyzing sentiment for user research or customer service

A copy of the spreadsheets and videos is also available in the post for you to create your own AI powered spreadsheets.
